I am not a dedicated Cycling Officer but have been involved in most aspects of providing for cyclists over the years. I currently chair a local cycling forum and also wrote the first cycling policy and strategy document for the City of Lincoln. |

| Robin Bevis Region: South West Local Authority: Devon County Council I am a Cycling Officer for Devon County Council not a trained engineer or planner (ex sociology teacher in fact -years ago!). I am a member of formerly DETR (now DfT) 'Intermodality Working Group' and Chair of the Buses and Cycles sub group (group produced several DETR intermodality publications. I am a member DETR/DfT former 'Access to Public Transport Working Group' and I am the current nominated/elected spokesperson for LACA Steering Group with Cycling England. I have represented the LACA Steering Group on a number of working/steering groups such as 'Bikeability' and 'National On-Line Cycle Journey Planner'. I am a County Council representative of the CTC National Benchmarking first tranche group and the Regional Benchmarking project. I am also a Partnership co-ordinator for Sustrans in Devon and Sustrans Liaison ranger. |

| Milan Tursner Region: West Midlands Local Authority: Warwickshire County Council I have been the cycle officer for Warwickshire County Council since 1999. I am 63 years old engineer trained and I cycle between 1500 and 2000 miles a year. I live 10 miles from the office and try to cycle once a week March to October. The local roads are not suitable for cycle commuting during the hours of darkness. I believe the British culture needs waking up to cycling and am convinced that public information TV is the way to go about it. |

| Steve Brewer Region: East Midlands Local Authority: Nottingham County Council Sustainable Transport Officer at Nottingham City Council. This role involves developing schemes as part of the Greater Nottingham Local Transport Plan projects for which I am currently responsible for includes a programme of Primary Pedestrian Route improvements part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managing the LTP cycling programme. I am the main point of contact for cycling at the City Council and as such I try to promote and develop cycling in all aspects of my work. Prior to moving to Nottingham City Council as part of Local Government reorganisation I worked for Nottinghamshire County Council in Traffic Management and Major Projects. Before this I worked for the London Borough of Camden for twelve years in Planning and Transport I was the Principal Officer for Traffic Management South Area. |

| Brad Hamilton Region: London Camden Consultancy Service I am a civil engineer with over 10 years professional experience in the transport planning and project management sector. Currently I am the Project Manager of the London Cycle Network Plus (LCN+) project, which is managed by Camden Consultancy Service (CCS) and part of the London Borough of Camden's Environment and Culture Department. I have been in this role since July 2006 and previous to this I was an LCN+ Sector Manager, overseeing the LCN+ programme in the north of London. My role on the LACA is that of London representative (until regional elections are held) and I also oversee the administration of the LACA which is currenly undertaken by CCS. |
