Welcome to the new LACA Website The Local Authority Cycling Association (LACA) currently comprises members of the former LACPG steering group. The steering group has identified a clear interim mission for the LACA to provide for the development of services until a new mandate is established. The LACA is funded by Cycling England until April 2008 and is an independent resource that can be utilised by Local Authority cycling practitioners that decide to join. Local Authorities are an important contributor in developing cycling across the country. To do this effectively there needs to be coordination and a clear vision for cycling amongst Local Authorities and the cycling practitioners and professionals working for them. |
